ITAs issued in 2018 till date has reached 28000. As per the multi-year immigration levels plan for 2018-2020, Canada government’s target for the year 2018 is to admit 74,900 immigrants through the three Express Entry economic immigration classes — the Federal Skilled Worker Class, the Federal Skilled Trades Class and the Canadian Experience Class. Larger draws like those held on April 11, April 25 and May 9, are expected to help IRCC to achieve this target. The target for the year 2019 is 81400.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has set higher admission targets for 2018 and 2019, compared to 2017. So it is expected that draw sizes will increase and draws become more frequent in the months to come.
IRCC applied tie-break rule in the latest draw as well. The date and time employed were December 12, 2017 at 01:51:38 UTC. It means that all candidates with a CRS score of 441 and above, who submitted their profiles before this time, received ITAs.
