According to the province, the occupations which are exempt from labour market testing have high demand in both public and private sectors. More IT jobs have been exempted with an aim to attract more new immigrants with experience in these occupations to the province. The Newfoundland & Labrador PNP is part of Atlantic Immigration Pilot, which is a joint federal-provincial program which targets skilled workers and international students.
Newfoundland has successfully attracted more permanent residents in the past two years. The total number of new immigrants who moved to the country in 2019 was 1850, which is 64 per cent more compared to 2015.
Provincial Nominee Programs are a viable pathway for migration to Canada, as CRS requirement is low and options are vast. To know what options are available for you to migrate to Canada under PNP, talk to the expert Canada immigration consultants of CanApprove.
