Healthcare workers currently have the highest number of job vacancies in Canada owing to the pandemic. According to Statistics Canada, the number of vacant positions in these sectors by the end of 2020 was 100,300. The scarcity of labour has now been intensified by the pandemic.
To fill the growing number of vacancies is going to become even more difficult in the coming decades as majority of Canada’s labour force will be retired by that time. Immigrate to Canada as a nurse
If you have educational qualification and work experience in nursing, you can migrate to Canada as a nurse. The first step in the Canada immigration process of nurses is getting their Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) done. The next step is National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS) of Canada assessing their nursing qualifications. Then the candidates can create an Express Entry profile and appear for a language test. They may also start looking for a job in Canada as a job offer can make the immigration process easier and faster. Upon receiving a positive NNAS assessment, the candidates can apply for Nursing Canada registration with the concerned province or territory. Once they receive an Express Entry invitation, they may apply for permanent residence in Canada.
