800 profiles with CRS 466 and above receive ITAs under French Language Proficiency Draw

The latest Express Entry draw (#329), held on December 3 2024, brought exciting news for French-speaking candidates. It issued a total of 800 ‘Invitations to Apply’ (ITAs) to those who had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 466. This draw exclusively targeted candidates with demonstrated proficiency in the French language, reinforcing Canada’s commitment to strengthening Francophone communities outside Quebec.

This draw continues the trend of targeted French language proficiency draws in 2024. A previous draw (#324) held on November 15, 2024, also invited 800 candidates, but with a higher CRS cut-off of 478.

The current  draw also points to the uptick in demand for French speakers in different sectors throughout Canada. IRCC sets a priority on French language proficiency to better aid linguistic diversity and cultural richness of the country.
