This draw marks the first round of invitations for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) in 2025. Candidates with a CRS score of 542 or higher were invited to apply for permanent residency. For those with the same lowest score, the cut-off was determined by the submission date of their Express Entry profiles.
The Canadian Experience Class is one of the three economic immigration pathways managed under the Express Entry system. It is targeted at skilled workers who already have Canadian work experience and demonstrate the ability to contribute to the country’s economy and communities. This program is crucial to Canada’s immigration strategy, as it recognizes the contributions of those who have already supported the economy.
In this second draw of the year, 1,350 ITAs were issued to CEC candidates, with a minimum CRS score of 542. This represents a significant increase compared to the last CEC Draw (#326), held earlier, where only 400 ITAs were issued with a minimum CRS score of 539. The higher CRS cut-off in the current draw shows the competitive nature of the program and an increased demand for skilled workers.
