Markedly, Canada issued a total of 15,354 invites to eligible immigration candidates under various Provincial Nomination Programs (PNP) throughout August 2023.
Moreover, seven Canadian provinces held 31 PNP draws in August 2023, with Ontario issuing 9,906 provincial invitations, the highest among others.
Other provinces that held provincial nomination draws include Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.

Ontario
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued the highest number of invitations. Ontario issues 9,906 invitations in three separate draws under Foreign Worker Stream, Ph.D. Stream, and Master’s Graduate Stream in August 2023.

Quebec
Quebec enjoys a special arrangement with the federal government to manage its immigration targets.
Accordingly, Quebec immigration has issued 1,384 Canadian immigration invitations under its Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP). To apply in a new draw through the Arrima Expression of Interest system.
British Columbia
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) continued to hold its weekly draws.
The province invited 935 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination only under Express Entry British Columbia (Skilled Worker, International Graduate) stream.

Alberta
A total of 815 candidates were invited to apply for a provincial nomination under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program draws.
Invited candidates include those with family connections and primary experience in in-demand occupations, construction occupations, Tourism and hospitality occupations, and dedicated Healthcare Pathway.

Alberta has a total quota of 9,750 for 2023; out of which 4,875 are set aside for Express Entry profiles.
Prince Edward Island and Sakatchewan
PEI PNP held two scheduled draws inviting a total of 222 eligible candidates under Express Entry, and Labour Impact candidates.
While, Saskatchewan invited 642 profiles to apply for provincial nominations under International Skilled Worker Category. The qualifying score range above 60 points.
Canada PNP in 2023 will target more immigrants than Express Entry for Permanent Residency.
The PNP targets for 2023-2025 are as follows:
1. 105,500 in 2023
2. 110,000 in 2024
3. 117,500 in 2025
