The minimum score required for Business Impact candidates was 80.
Prince Edward Island PNP Express Entry
The Express Entry category of Prince Edward Island PNP is aligned to the federal Express Entry system of Canada. The federal Express Entry system manages applications for immigration under the economic immigration program of Canada, which are Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Class. Each Express Entry candidate is awarded a Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score based on various eligibility factors such as age, work experience, education and language proficiency. Those who receive provincial nomination will have 600 additional CRS score points added to their total score.
In order to receive an invitation from Prince Edward Island PNP, the Express Entry candidates need to submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) to the Prince Edward Island PNP. Each profile is then awarded points based on the unique points grid of the province. Those with the highest scores receive invitations to apply for provincial nomination.

The Labour Impact category of Prince Edward Island targets foreign workers with a valid job offer from Prince Edward Island and support from their employer to settle in the province. The category has three immigration streams: Skilled Worker, Critical Worker and International Graduate. This category too operates on the basis of an Expression of Interest system.

The candidates who received invitations under the Business Impact category were invited through the Work Permit Stream. This stream allows foreign entrepreneurs to own and operate a business in the province.
