306 candidates invited in Quebec Arrima draw

Quebec invited 306 Canada immigration candidates in the latest Arrima draw held on February 21. The draw required the candidates to have a minimum score of 630 on the Quebec Expression of Interest system. The candidates were also required to have a job offer from outside the Montreal metropolitan area. Those who have received the invitation may submit the complete application for Quebec Selection Certificate within 60 days.

Arrima System of Quebec

Arrima system or the Quebec Expression of Interest system is an Expression of Interest points system for Quebec Skilled Worker Program. The candidates who submit an Expression of Interest to the Arrima system are assessed on the basis of various human capital factors and awarded a score. The education qualification, language ability and work experience of your spouse or common-law partner could also earn more points for you. The score is awarded out of 1320. Those with the highest scores are invited in the Arrima draws that are conducted regularly.

Arrima application process

1. Submit an Expression of Interest profile via Arrima
2. The profiles are ranked on the basis of Arrima score. The validity of an Arrima profile is 12 months.
3. Those with the highest score receive an invitation to apply for a Quebec Certificate of Selection in the subsequent Arrima draw.
4. The invited candidate can submit the full application within 60 days.
5. Upon receiving a Quebec Selection Certificate, they may apply for permanent residence in Canada to the federal government.

• French and English language abilities
• Age
• Work experience
• Education
• Work experience in an in-demand Quebec occupation
• Qualifications in one of Quebec’s areas of training
