The latest Expression of Interest draw of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program or SINP invited 627 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination. The draw held on July 14 invited 430 candidates belonging to Express Entry stream and 195 candidates belonging to Occupations In-Demand stream. The minimum provincial score required for both categories was 69. The draw targeted candidates with work experience in targeted occupations under any of the 20 selected National Occupational Classification codes.
Saskatchewan Expression of Interest process
In order to receive an invitation in a Saskatchewan Expression of Interest draw, you must first submit an Expression of Interest to the SINP. Eligible candidates will be selected from the EOI candidate pool to be invited to apply for provincial nomination in the draws that are conducted regularly. The invited candidates may submit the full application within 60 days. The eligible candidates will receive a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan Occupation In-Demand sub-category
In order for a candidate to become eligible under the Occupation In-Demand sub-category of SINP, They must have scored at least 60 points on the SINP points assessment grid. They must have language proficiency equality Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4. They must also have post-secondary level education and at least one year of relevant work experience. Further, the candidate must obtain relevant professional license. They must also have proof of settlement funds and also a settlement plan.
SINP Express Entry
To be eligible under the SINP Express Entry sub-category, a candidate must have an active Express Entry profile. They must have score at least 60 points on the SINP points assessment grid. Required level of language proficiency, post-secondary level education and at least one year of work experience are the other requirements to receive an invitation under the SINP Express Entry sub-category. Besides, they need to obtain relevant professional certificate. They must also have proof of settlement funds and a settlement plan.
