Manitoba Expression of Interest: Express Entry
Of the total of 186 LAAs issued in the latest Manitoba Expression of Interest draw, 24 went to candidates who have their profile in the federal Express Entry pool. To be eligible to receive an LAA in a Manitoba Expression of Interest draw, the Express Entry candidates must have eligible work experience in one of the in-demand occupations of Manitoba and meet other requirements. The candidates also need to submit a separate Expression of Interest to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program.
Manitoba Expression of Interest
For receiving an LAA from Manitoba through either Skilled Worker in Manitoba or Skilled Worker Overseas category, it is necessary for the candidate to submit an Expression of Interest to the MPNP. Each EoI profile submitted this way, is awarded a score out of 1000 based on a number of eligibility factors such as education, work experience, previous connections to the province and proficiency in either English or French. In the Manitoba Expression of Interest draws, the highest scoring candidates are issued Letters of Advice to Apply.
In the latest Expression of Interest draw, the lowest score of the candidates in the Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream was 534 and that of Skilled Worker Overseas Stream candidates was 708.
