In the month of November, the Provincial Nominee Programs of Canada issued close to 3000 invitations to immigration candidates. The Provincial Nominee Programs allow provinces and territories select candidates who can meet their unique labour market and demographic needs. Each PNP has their own unique criteria for selecting candidates. Canada PNP is currently one of the most prominent pathways for Canada immigration. The country is planning to welcome more than 80000 immigrants through PNP every year till 2023.
All Provincial Nominee Programs have at least one stream aligned to the federal Express Entry. The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducts PNP-specific Express Entry draws. Throughout this year, IRCC has been conducting PNP-specific Express Entry draws in every two weeks on an average. In November, two PNP-specific Express Entry draws were held. The one held on November 10 invited 775 candidates while the other held on November 24 invited 613 candidates. A total of 23 PNP-specific draws have been held this year and 13000 candidates have been invited in these draws.
