Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held its 22nd category-based Express Entry draw of 2024. It resulted in 975 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residency (PR).
Candidates with work experience in any of the listed transport occupations and qualifying under FSWP, CEC, or FSTP, received nominations.
Further, all the invited candidates are required to have a qualifying score above 430 which is based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). IRCC considered profiles submitted on or before July 31, 2023, at 13:27:26 UTC in case of a tie in the CRS score.

To be eligible for this category, candidates must have at least one year of continuous full-time work experience in one of the eligible occupations within the past three years. They must also meet the minimum language and education requirements for Express Entry.

Apply for Category-Based Express Entry Draws

Consequently, candidates under the healthcare occupations (2023-1), STEM occupations (2023-1), skilled trades (2023-1), Agriculture And Agri-Food Occupations (2023-1), and French-speaking categories received ITAs for Canada PR.

1. Skills: Relevant education/training/skills can earn you more CRS points.
2. Work Experience: Relevant work experience in eligible transport occupations can earn you points.
3. Language Proficiency: Working proficiency in English or French is crucial.
4. Arranged Employment: If you have a valid job offer from a Canadian employer, you can earn extra CRS points.
5. Age: Younger candidates receive more points.
6. Provincial Nomination: Candidates with prior provincial nominations receive additional CRS points.
